Projects

The following are a variety of projects spanning different fields and mediums. Some remained prototypes, while others evolved into functional objects that can be used in everyday life.

"Galgalim" Bike

I was asked to rethink and redesign a bicycle. I focused on the typical surfer’s bike with a side attachment for carrying a board and examined its downsides - limited mounting from one side, uneven weight distribution, and increased width. From this analysis came the idea for the “Galgalim” bike.

3D modeling

Over my studies, I worked on a variety of projects, rethinking existing objects by turning them into more functional versions and developing new models and concepts.

MicroMeal

During my reserve duty, I spent a lot of time eating field rations (MREs), and the idea came to me that they could be improved. They could be more eco-friendly, lighter to carry in the field, and more compact. I also explored making them customizable and attachable to one another to offer more choice, while allowing the cap to be closed again, something that had not been done before.

Bike Tool Kit

As a long-distance biker, I’ve experienced flat tires, loose chains, and other issues on the road. This led me to design a compact, portable toolkit for long rides, which I designed, sewed, and assembled myself.

Versatile Lamp

I was given the electrical components of a lamp and asked to design a complete piece. I created a versatile design that can be used as a reading light, in a tent, or as a flashlight, among other uses.
