Hi, I'm Bar.

I'm a woodworker, designer, craftsman, and maker driven by a deep passion for working with my hands. I'm drawn to transforming raw materials into thoughtful, functional, and decorative objects where craftsmanship, creativity, and attention to detail come together.

My journey with design and making began in 2018.

I studied Industrial Design at HAC (also known as JMC), which opened my eyes to new perspectives on creation and material. Since then, my work has consistently centered around hands-on making and developing practical skills that continue to shape my practice.

Alongside this, I run my own business, Studio MATERIAL, where I work with locally sourced trees in Israel to create functional and decorative pieces for the home. I'm always seeking new collaborations that allow me to keep learning, growing, and expanding my craft.
